About Us

TANSTIA-FNF SERVICE CENTRE (TFSC) is a collaborative venture between Tamil Nadu Small & Tiny Industries Association (TANSTIA), Chennai and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF), Germany, established to promote entrepreneurship and to provide supporting services to Micro, Small and Medium enterprises. TFSC endeavours to assist the vibrant sector of small and tiny industries in the changing scenario. The centre was inaugurated on August 26, 1992 by Shri. Venkataraman, Former President of India. Our Mission is to encourage New entrepreneurs and enable the small and tiny enterprises attain all round capabilities and to lead the way towards high performance thereby enhancing their participation in the national and global economy.

TFSC is an ISO 9001:2015 certified organization. Very few service organizations are being certified for quality standards in the country. TFSC is the recognized and accepted facilitator in number of Government and Non-governmental schemes for small-scale industry.

Our Credentials

An ISO certified Centre Since 2000. The First SME service organization to be ISO accredited in the country.
TFSC has been accredited by Quality Council of India and received the “Gold Rating”
TFSC was selected as a Registered Project for the International Event “Expo 2000 HANNOVER” held in Germany in the year 2000. TFSC is the only project selected from India for information service to Small enterprises under the theme “Science and Technology-Thinking the future for Micro Enterprises”. The selection was made by an international jury after a close evaluation of our Project.
TFSC has a well-established roaster of consultants with more than 250 expert who work through the centre for various advisory and consultancy and training needs of MSMEs
Work Very closely with Government and Non Government bodies engaged in Entrepreneurship promotion and MSME development. Well Recognized as a facilitator and BDS provider in the service of MSMEs, by national and international agencies
